Windy Bob.

Bob and Sophie start their day enthusiastically. They carry on like that.

An 'antiques' fair under the arcades.  The prices are of the 'think of a number and quadruple it, then add a nought ' variety. The lady in the blue dressing gown and slippers is visited by a friend dragging a shopping trolley behind her. The friend is wearing three hats. Is this a fashion feature or is her trolley already full ?

The PON duo taste cauliflower cheese. Two hours later a happy Bob has become Windy Bob.

Here's an interesting dog article from The Spectator:

Poor Maisie. How terrifying indeed for her owner.I hope the attack dogs are found and their owner, who is surely the main guilty party, is dealt with. Sadly, one doubts that his maltreated dogs can ever be consider 'safe'. Reading this Spectator article makes me realise that I escaped lightly when Bertie was attacked the other week. Cheers, Gail.

Three hats ? Just how cold was it in France yesterday ?

How upsetting of an article. There is no question that I feel great sympathy for Maisie and her owners, how horrible for them. However I also admit to feeling sorry for the dogs that attacked poor Maisie because of the cruelty at the hand of their owner they no doubt endure more regularly than we may dare to think -- And when they are found, the owner is probably right, they will pay the ultimate price with their lives.

But a windy Bob, and 3 hats provide a much, much lighter note!

I'm not reading the article, I'm looking at the picture of the woman . French Chic isn't what it used to be!

Are you sure that lady's not a giant gnome? ;)

There's Paris chic and then there's deepest France profonde chic.

One day I'll post the lady with the blue toggle dressing gown and furry slippers.

That article is exactly why I never let my dog off leash in a public place. Enough scary stories about friends' dogs being hurt at dog parks. I hope they apprehend the owner of the dogs that attacked Maisie and give him a bit of jail time. Maybe have him serve his sentence by working at a dog rescue center or where they treat victims of dog attacks.
Madam trois chapeaus looks quite ummmm individualistic..

The comments on the article sound just like the comments we have had here about breed specific legislation.

I think we all would love to have photos of some of the folks who provide the local color for your blog.

The little lady in the red cap looks like a visitor from middle earth. But really, she provides local charm. Better the simple country look than shiny polyester, gold chains and baseball caps.
