Loic, the heavily bifocaled gardener, spends an hour blowing leaves. He then starts up the lawn tractor. There is a tiny, unscripted, change to his plans. He inadvertently selects forward rather than reverse gear and hits the wall at the end of the barn. Loic says 'Oops la'. '' No harm done " says Angus. There is then a dull rushing sound as two thirds of the back barn wall slides slowly down the hill. It ends its brief journey in the orchard amid a whirl of bricks and dust. 'The trees in the valley are a very beautiful sight ' says Loic looking at the newly opened up vista.
The rest of the morning is spent making sure the barn is safe and the detritus stowed away.
Bob and Sophie find the whole experience 'exciting'. When it comes to enjoying life PONs are right up there with the best of them.
Another day in an ever more Rickety Old Farmhouse.

It would appear that Loic's spectacles are rose tinted as well as heavily bifocal.
We're glad that the PON's found the demolition exciting ... that will show the errant cat! Does Loic know someone who will rebuild the wall for a "consideration"?
You needed to renew that wall anyway......didn't you?!
Ooooooo, a new doorway into the orchard for the PONs.
I've no doubt you and "the Font" know that it could have been worse, much worse....
One couldn't make this stuff up even if they tried!
Ay yi yi!!!! Even more rickety farmhouse indeed.
The craziest things happen to you. Glad no one was hurt!
"Oops La!" It seems that Loic and the Font are very similar with their optimistic views....you see the barn wall sliding down the hill and Loic sees the beautiful sight of the trees in the valley......just one more project to add to your To Do List for the ROF.....glad no one was hurt.
I see a successful TV series based on your life, LOL!
Oh dear. Good thing the coast was clear. Ahem.
