Routine excitement.
Six am. Bob leads his sister on a tour of the garden. You'd think that by now the routine excitement of heading out of the front door might have died down. Not a bit of it. Every new day is started at hyper pace. There might be C-A-T-S.
Something miraculous has happened to Sophie. She returns from chasing collar doves looking presentable.
Her brother is having a less fur friendly day.
Seven or eight ( one isn't in bloom yet ) exotic pink flowers have started to sprout on the lawn. Are they ancient bulbs brought to life by the wet Spring ? Or are they wild flowers that have seeded themselves ? Loic and the lawn tractor are kept well clear of them.
A twitter link to the BBC North Korea monitoring desk. This week rabbits with artillery. This North Korean children's programme has a different take on what soft cuddly toys get up to . Sure puts the fear of God into me : https://twitter.com/i/moments/1134391551445098496?from_editor=true

...a type of orchid? Definitely to be Loic-proofed! YAM xx
Yes. you might be right. It has an orchid like waxy texture to it. The PONs, thankfully, seem oblivious to their presence.
Looks like an orchid by shape of individual flowers.
It looks similar to the marsh orchids we see in damp places in N. Scotland?
Pyramidal Orchid Anacamptis pyramidalis (Fr. Orchis pyramidal). A protected species (although increasingly not rare as it is expanding its range). They are at their peak just at the moment.
Thank you. They seem to have discovered that The Rickety Old Farmhouse is ideal territory. Tellingly, they appear on the site of old mole hills.
Bob we live your scruffy look.
we mean love.
Probably better to love the Bob look rather than live it !
Sophie is looking quite soignée of late, but poor Bob looks as if he combed his hair with an eggbeater.
Those little orchids are lovely.
