The carefree duck.

With the students going home the centre of town is getting quieter , very quickly.

Outside the bakers a duck walks unconcernedly down the road towards the church. I'd reckon that one in three of the passers by say hello to it. The others detour round it and give the duck plenty of space to get on its way.

I've never understood why private registration plates are such a thing. Is it status ? This morning there's a Range Rover with a registration plate that's one of a kind.

I really would not want to be driving around with that license plate. Even the duck might find it a bit silly.

Pretentious license plate. It goes with the car...

That duck is definitely on a mission - looking for good coffee perhaps

Duck is definitely going somewhere for certain. I know a lady who has an Elvis vanity plate. There is NO wonder there.

We have Muscovy ducks walking purposefully through our development frequently. Not the prettiest duck but endearing with mom and ducklings behind. First with 12 or more than gradually fewer and fewer...

In the 70's my uncle used to have a vanity plate on his Ferrari that read MY EGO. Quite fitting.

Has the duck taken a leaf from the student's book and had a very late night out, or is it up bright and early?
It would be good to think that the vanity plate on the SUV is tongue in cheek!
