A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

Forgive many things in others; nothing in yourself.
It's taken four and a half months but my French Driving License is finally ready at the Prefecture. By the time I've found a parking spot half the population of France are in a queue ahead of me. When called to the window the ice maiden looks at me in a way that suggests that if she had her way I wouldn't be getting a driving license.
Bob has returned from the kennels looking very svelte. Sophie by contrast is looking rather well fed. She's become decidedly curvaceous. Can she really have been stealing ALL her brothers kibbles ? .
The font clears out Angus's old shirts. There was a time when they would have been thrown out. Now the buttons are cut off and they're given to the PON's to play tug of war with. The house is filled with the sound of cotton being shredded. PON satisfaction.

Curvaceous Sophie can surely get with the "not fat just fluffy" line...
I meant 'get away with' of course.
She could also 'get with' it.
The best toys are always the cheap ones, we save toilet roll centres, keeps puppy amused for hours (although I'm sure it would be seconds with the PONs)
hmmmmmmmmmm……….one PON returns svelte………the other returns curvaceous. We need more facts to go on. Did they share a kennel?
Fed together? One bowl, or two bowls? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
What a lovely boy. Clearly sensing that Sophie was unhappy, he decided that giving her his dinner might cheer her up a bit.

One large pen. Fed together. Two bowls. Sophie eats as if it's going out of fashion. Bob's pace is altogether more relaxed.
Of course it's just as likely Sophie hoovered everything up while Bob was still figuring out which bowl was his.
Shredding shirts! We haven't thought of that.
Glad you FINALLY got the license.
XXXOOO Bella & Roxy
Happy May 1st to you and your two doggies,
perfect two ecologist who can recycle old clothes.
Eventually, Bob probably had enough of Sophie eating his food and that's how she got the cut under her eye.
You may be right. More and more pieces of the puzzle seem to fall into place.
LOL. Shirt tearing. What a great way for PON's to let their hair down. PS - thanks for the thoughts on Scottish independence on the other Gain Loss blog - a bit complicated for me but I'd agree that somethings not quite right. Luv - Trish and Max xxxxxx
I sense an unhappy, dieting Sophie in the near future!
Does rushing into the kitchen and sitting staring at the oven give us a hint of what's on her mind ? Rice cakes as treats for Sophie.
Glad you triumphed over the ice maiden!
Congratulations on your driving permit. I had thought about it lately but was afraid to ask.
It might be being spayed that has driven Sophie's appetite through the roof. Poor girl, a nasty surgery and now, possibly, a diet. Not fair.
Hopefully rice cakes as between meal treats will soften the blow !
ANGUS - we had the same situation years ago when we had an always-ravenous female Scottie (MAGGIE), and a new male Scottie that joined our family (ANGUS). She would literally 'slide' his biscuit right out of his mouth, and devour it (after finishing hers, of course). This went on for several months, and he was too much a gentleman to do anything about it. Until………UNTIL……..one day he decided that he just about had enough. She went up to him, began to 'slide' the bone-shaped biscuit out of his mouth - and WHAM! - he bit her in the neck with a growl we had never heard from him. She never ever did it again.
I am so happy for you that you finally have your Fench driver's license.
Score: Angus = 100 Ice Maiden= 0
YEAH!!!
