Fueled by an illicit half croissant the irrepressible duo are ready for fun. They find an old moss covered stick in the orchard. This is savaged for a full half an hour. It can be said that PON's at play are not quiet dogs.
For those of you who asked here's an e-mail from Madame Bay about the Very Old Farmers recovery from his stomach cancer operation. Although he's lost a lot of weight he's getting on as well as can be expected.
" Il avait perdu beaucoup de
poids, ( régime pratiquement liquide!) & venait juste d’être débranché de sa
perfusion. L’opération s’est bien passée. Il parait relativement content. Il m’a dit de me servir dans son potager, avec les
dernières pluies c’est la jungle! il attend avec impatience d’être transféré à l’hôpital pour sa
convalescence ".

Good news on the Very Old Farmer....so happy to hear that his operation was successful, and he is recuperating and anxious to return home.
Amazingly, I think I would be worried about my garden too if I were laid up in hospital. I hope Madame Bay is able to help out in his garden as he asks. I am sure he will be home soon.
Somehow I never figured that Madame Bay would be even near a computer, far less more sending emails.....

As others have said, it's good to know that the VOF is on the way to as much recovery as can be expected...to be concerned about one's veggie patch seems a good sign.

I hope the old farmer is out of the hospital soon! :) It sounds like he's anxious to get out.
I find it fascinating that with all the technology we have, we still have so little understanding of some of our most famed ancient civilizations!
Stonehenge is the most amazing place. Something about it and the landscape around that exudes mystery. When I was a boy you were able to clamber over the stones and go where ever you wanted to. These days you're kept well away. Not everything gets better.
Love the close ups of your dogs. They have such character.
Excellent news! That strong sense of purpose, bless him! Has someone be watering the garden or could someone water the VOF's garden?
Pulling the weeds away from his lovely vegetables will put the order back into the old country fellow's life.

Stonehenge has always fascinated me. Just kniwing that we will never truly know.
