Fixed and immovable.
Six and a half years old and they're both as enthusiastic as the day they were born. Last night 'The Font' made a pepperoni pizza. The PONs had never tasted pepperoni before. From the reaction it can safely be said it rated 100/10. This morning they're hoping that pepperoni is on the menu for breakfast. For the PONs a magical and wonderful world just keeps on getting more magical and wonderful.
Bob places his morning kiss on his sisters nose. She suffers this indignity in silence. Why he does this is a mystery. It is however a fixed and immovable part of the daily routine.
An hours walk down the hill to the stream and back. This morning we find a large fungus growing on the verge. It;'s the size of a rugby ball. We must have passed it twenty times without noticing it. It is carefully sniffed but then studiously ignored.
The sunflower fields now past their best . Their colour rapidly fading. The first hint that autumn is round the corner.
On our way back a wild flower that I've never seen before. Scores of tiny flowers and a colour that's neither crimson nor purple.

Your mystery wild flower is wild oregano Origanum vulgare (Fr. Marjolaine sauvage).

Yes to the oregano. Glad the PONs (or, specifically, Sophie) decided the mushroom wasn't worth ravaging. Defnitely to be walked away from. Does she, has she, ever kiss/ed Bob back??? YAM xx
Will the sunflower seeds be harvested, or will they just be ploughed back in? Wild oregano - lovely, it's my favourite herb.
Sophie should be pleased that Bob gives her a kiss each day - some brothers would just boff her one !
