Warm ( by Scottish standards ) but overcast. Despite the early hour the golf courses are already busy with townsfolk and students. We pass a large group of cheerful and talkative Spanish golfers heading off to the first tee. They are all 'colourfully' dressed. Green is clearly the in colour for Spanish golfers. There must be a dozen different shades on display - most unknown to nature. Their no holds barred colour schemes stand out in contrast to the locals who tend towards a more muted dress code.

So starts a quiet Thursday on the North Sea coast with a lively and inquisitive Polish Lowland Sheepdog lady. Today we await the delivery of the Simnel Cake.

Delightful 'cuckoo'.
While Nobby admires Sophie's post beach hairdo, Gail greatly enjoys the Britten.
Not a day for lingering on the beach - poor Sophie - the humidity plays havoc with a girl's hair.
Why did I expect the Farm Shop to look rather quaint and cosy - it owes more to a supermarket. The mushrooms and veg look good and there doesn't seem to be any of the shortages that I've read about recently.
She has that fresh from the surf Baywatch look, such a lucky girl.

Oh, but Sophie-Cheri, kelp can be eaten raw, cooked, or as a powder; due to its versatility and health benefits, kelp is typically used in sushi, sauces, salads, seasoning and various supplements... The Font needs to talk to the guy local to you who is quite the thing in seaweed foraging and preparation! ... not sure it will help with the hair do though... hugs and wags, YAM-auntyxxx
Sophie...my kindred spirit, a wild-hair girl!
Thank you for the beautiful Britten. Sophie wears a tousled look well; it compliments her natural insouciance.
On March 24, after reading about the Wallace Collection dog exhibition, I ordered the catalogue. Today, March 30, DHL delivered it. Six days from London to South Florida, quite a pleasant surprise as compared with more local lengthy trip times. And the catalogue is delightful: a whole series of the red Hockney dachshunds, many other portraits, and insightful chapters from various perspectives. Only negative from my view: not a wirehaired fox terrier to be seen. But well worth the purchase.
