Esoteric cheese.

Bob and Sophie race off in search of the beefsteak fungus. It's grown since we last looked. The thing's still suppurating. The more horrible something is the more the PON's seem to adore it. Sophie especially.

To the cheese lady. We buy some Coup de Corne ( with a hole in it ) , Echourgnac ( supposedly tastes nutty ) and Rond de Touraine. Bob and Sophie each receive a small slice of chevres. This culinary gift may have less to do with the cheese lady being a dog lover than an understanding that if she spoils the pooches I'll come back to buy more esoteric cheese.

The garden tractor salesman shows up in the afternoon with a new lawn tractor. He is closely watched. Not barked at. Just watched. Lawn tractors are one of those devils devices to be avoided.

You know, I would be trying out those exotic cheeses even if the seller ignored Bertie!
Cheers, Gail (cheese lover).

I love esoteric cheeses - but the proximity of those to the first beefsteak sweating fungi makes me realise they are probably a product of some other sweating greebly bacterial fungal growth on top of the milk. Killed the desire to taste them a bit....

That fungus still looks scary.

The fungus looks less like an alien's tumorous organ and more like something that might be edible. Might.....
We're all for anything that gets Bob and Sophie their bit of cheese.

When a volunteer brings his zero turn mower to mow at Silverwalk, I need to put Justus in a crate. He tries to play with the mower, putting himself in jeopardy.

I've never heard of any of those cheeses - were they good? Enquiring minds wish to know!

Brownie loves power tools that make lots of noise, but yet he doesn't like thunder or fireworks. Can't keep him away from the weed trimmer, and he loves me to vacuum him all over.
I have added another word to my vocabulary thanks to you....suppurating...and that word fits the fungus perfectly.
