Lack thereof.

Bob has had a muzzle trim. He's also had the hair around his ears thinned out.

This morning his sister looks a '' sight ". As in '' what a sight ''. I feel like saying ' It will grow " but she's oblivious to her masters grooming skills - or lack thereof.

The weeds on the stoop are of the variety that are pulled out in the evening and have reappeared by first light the following day. The Old Farmer says spraying on white vinegar is the only way to deal with them.

Five old folks have died from food poisoning  in a private nursing home near Toulouse.  What in heavens name could have happened in the kitchen to cause that ?

Easter bunnies already being discounted. Is something happening to sever the French and their love of chocolate ? First remaindered Santas and now slow selling rabbits.

We were thinking "lack thereof" would refer to the amount of Sophie furs!

It doesn't take much for food poisoning to turn lethal among the elderly.
I will try the OF's vinegar trick after it stops raining here.

We spray weeds with a mixture of vinegar, salt, liquid detergent and water. On a sunny day this works every time.

I think Bob and Sophie’s latest hair cuts may start a trend! There are mornings I wish my hair looked that good.

We use a formula similar to Kerrie's on weeds. Sunshine does play an important part in it's effectiveness though, as I understand it. I've read that Prince Charles has his gardeners use blow torches.
Yes, it's nice to see Bob's amber eyes again.

Sophie looks quite svelte with her new 'do. Best viewed from the chin up, perhaps.
White vinegar is a good weed remover. Be wary of salt in the mixture, lest it affect wanted plants. Some mixes called for adding Dawn, a blue dishwashing liquid. (This is like using Avon Skin So Soft as a horsefly deterrent -- it works but your horses always smell rather flowery. And it makes you wonder what you've been putting into your environment.)
