A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

All this unbridled joy has given me quite an appetite.
The bee man knocks a two foot hole in the kitchen wall. Three hours later the bees are smoked out and taken off in the back of a van. They fill four cardboard boxes. '' You'll see them again. They always return to a place they like " says the bee man matter of factly. Neither 'the font' nor Angus are sure whether they share the bee mans enthusiasm for this apian homing instinct.
Bob and Sophie were completely untroubled by the thunder and lightening. A benefit of spending the first three month of their lives on a mountain farm where thunder was a daily occurrence. The high humidity does not suit Sophie. Her fur frizzes into an unkempt perm. Not so much a bad hair day as a frightful hair day.
Have you all seen this video of a dog fainting from unbridled joy ? Seems a grand daughter came to visit after 2 years and the Schnauzer overdosed on happiness .

Thunder don't bother me either, but we get lotsa it here.
That video - the ultimate emotional reunion indeed!
Hello ANGUS: The video of the reunion is actually the owner herself - being reunited with her Miniature Schnauzer Casey after two long years apart.
The owner has been in Bled, Slovenia for the past two years - and just returned home for a belated wedding celebration in Pennsylvania with family and friends. Casey, her dog, has been living with her sister all this time. Clearly seen………..dogs never forget their true loves. I wish it had been made known - if Casey will be returning to Slovenia with her beloved owner……..or not. Fingers crossed that all will be well.
They showed that this morning--pups don't forget.
Loved the video of Bob's tail in motion...he looks so contented.
Oh Sophie I feel your pain....bad hair days are the worse, but a pat of your paw should have it back in place in no time.
The reunion video is truly a documentation of unbridled love between a dog and its family members.....brought a huge smile to my face this beautiful Sunday morning.
Bob's wagging tail and the video tick all the boxes for me, thanks for posting Angus!
I can so relate to Sophie's problem with the humidity!
I actually like Sophie's hair style. It makes a statement.
Loved the video of Bob's swishing tail but still want to see his soft shoe shuffle.
The reunion video had me smiling the entire time. What wonderful gifts, these four legged friends.
Why is it always the females that have bad hair days! You look beautiful anyway Sophie:)
Love the waggy tail Bob video. The schnauzer one was so sweet!
I couldn't get the video, for some reason. Feeling left out here.
You did a very fine thing, Angus and the font. But did the bee keeper say what you could do to make the area inhospitable to the bees?
