A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters.
Bob and Sophie are given a mid-morning chew. Within ten minutes Sophie has a chew in her mouth and the other between her front paws. Bob can't believe that his sister is responsible for the theft of his treat. He spends ten minutes searching in the garden for it. There's no doubting which of the two siblings is the clever one.
The farmers are out until well past midnight harvesting the grain. Their progress marked by plumes of wheat chaff spiraling up from behind the combines. The PON's watch the enormous machines in silence .
Ten am rush hour at the supermarket. The shelf stackers have turned all the aisles into obstacle courses. Bad tempered French ladies weave in and out of the obstructions. Trolley to trolley arguments over who has right of way. Angus decides that he will beat a hasty retreat. Somehow they stack shelves differently in the UK. Do they not have health and safety rules here ?

Ours are stacked at night!
Yep … night time stacking here too … so it's not usually a problem … unless you like doing your shopping at 2:00am :0)
Perhaps time will eventually show Bob who is responsible for the fact his treats all go 'missing'...
Here many grocery stores seem to do their restocking in the first hours of the morning when people are trying to get to work. But whenever it's done it never blocks the isle, and the customer always has the right-of-way, just like Sophie does with Bob's chews!
Enjoy your Sunday!
Love your blog and the pictures are great! The Whole Foods stores do this all the time! It's so frustrating, but unfortunately that's where I buy most of our produce etc. Is it just me, or are people getting grumpier?
Some of the stores here in the US do their shelf-stocking about that time of mid-morning.
Sophie should be turned loose on the men in dark suits. She'd teach them about asset management!
I think it's a girl thing. Apple does the same thing to Edward when he's not looking. He is too polite to make a fuss. I, of course, give him another treat which, amazingly, Apple finds unfair.
Poor Bob....I hope he received two chews too!!!
And what were the Germans doing?
