Even less.

On our start of day tour of the village we meet the man with anger management issues.

The court case , which had been rescheduled for Monday, has been postponed again. I ask him if it was because of the lockdown. Seems it wasn't. The German billionaires builder claims to have developed a throat problem that will require surgery. A new date for the hearing has yet be set. ' I'll give him throat surgery' says the anger management man, drawing a finger, blade like, across his throat in a piratical manner.

After that excitement we head down to the stream to watch the dragonflies.

So starts a Wednesday morning in a little village where little ever happens - and even less happens during a pandemic lockdown. The flags are still up on the war memorial. Perhaps I should mention this to the new mayor ?

The weather looks nice. Almost summer here and it is raining and 10degrees. Grrr.

Love the cloud patterns today. Perhaps Monsieur Anger Management would benefit from time spent appreciating the glories of nature...

I second Gail about the interesting cloud pattern. I try to lose myself in the photos that look out over Sophie's (larger) home. And I am a daily admirer of a PON's tousled furs. Perhaps a whisper to Mme Bey about the flag problem....Ah, the music....something to take me away from our current state (as in politics, not condition) of residence.

The clouds and landscape (and Sophie) are particularly stunning today! I guess placing the ladder near the gate for the mayor(s) to see would be a bit too blunt... of course, then the new Mayor and not the owls would wake you at 3:00 AM. Your village is truly a joy. Thank you for sharing, especially now with less general joy in the world.
