Christmas morning.

Here's wishing a Merry ( and safe ) Christmas  to you all from everyone at The Rickety Old Farmhouse . Despite current 'uncertainties' may this be your best Christmas ever.

Generations of PONs have marveled at Christmas lunch.  Gravy ( Whoaa!), Roast Potatoes ( Roll me over ! ), Stuffing ( Blimey! I has gone to heaven !). Sophie is intent on continuing this tradition. She will be dividing her time between the kitchen ( in the hope that 'The Font'  drops the turkey ) and the dining room ( where she's hoping the turkey carver leaves the plates unattended ).

Blessings and Love to all three; may Angus eat and imbibe all he wishes wihtout consequence; may the Font be stable and steady of hand in the kitchen... but may Sophie get some of her wishes granted!!! YAM xx

Best wishes for Christmas and a healthy and happy new year (and while turkeys on the floor might be fait game, we don't believe a well raised Dame like Sophie would lynch a piece of turkey off an unattended plate - would she?)

Well raised ? Sophie ? In her world unattended plates have a great big ' Help yourself' sign over them.

And a Very Merry Christmas to all at the ROF. We are looking forward to another year of entertaining tales of the ever magnificent Sophie and her family in France Profonde.
All the best!
Gail, Bertie, and Christmas guest, wee poodle Ella.

Merry Christmas! PONs may be unique among dogs in their ability to enjoy every part of a Christmas feast, and I hope that Sophie enjoyed hers.

Merry Christmas to you all at the ROF. May Sophie's wish be granted and an unattended plate of turkey be left at just the right height for a girl to snaffle a surreptitious slice or two.
We, too, look forward to many more tales of daring-do in your little corner of France Profonde.
Hopefully we'll all be Covid-free by this time next year.

If a dog's prayers were answered, bones (or perhaps turkey) would fall from the sky! (proverb). Thank you for the gift of another year in a PON's France, and most especially, for your wide selection of music, throughout the year. Joyeux Noel! (translated to "Ahroo!" for Sophie).
