What excitement awaits ?

Sophie ends her sunrise tour of the garden with a hop, skip and a high speed jump. What better way to greet a Sunday morning ? Why walk when you can run ? Why go round a lavender bed when you can through it ? Why be quiet when you can bark at a black bird ? Why drink from your nice clean bowl when you can drink from a muddy puddle ?

The world is a beautiful place. There are croissants to be had and lurking C-A-T-S to be chased from the garden. Who knows what fresh excitement awaits after breakfast ? There may be mallards to glare at.

So starts a windy Sunday morning in deepest, deepest France profonde. Cast care aside entertainment is provided by an extremely enthusiastic sheepdog.

The last two photos of Sophie, especially the one with her tongue out, are priceless. I love the way the rising sun makes her feathery tail almost glow. No wonder she looks such a happy girl, with so much excitement ahead of her.
We're waiting for the day to brighten up before we set foot outdoors, but I doubt Inca's day will be as exciting.

Sophie running through a bed of lavender. What a beautiful image that conjures up.

I have to rely on you for sunrise views... they are strongly lacking up here by the Hutch. Of course, the presence of a Princessly PON adds great value to them! YAM xx
