Irrepressible.

The cheese lady's had a delivery of chevres. Bob and Sophie are allowed the tiniest of tastes. Bob's tail whirls. When you're nearly two life is just one great big wonderful adventure .

The church bells have been reprogrammed. Come noon they do their royal wedding peel. They remain blessedly silent between ten at night and seven in the morning.

In the afternoon the PON duo explore the far reaches of the orchard. Their evening is spent watching petit gateau a l'avocat citron vert et framboise being prepared. Sophie complains about the chefs tardiness. After that they sleep.

Across the road the Old Farmers year round Christmas star has had some bulbs replaced. It shines out in its full ten megawatt magnificence. Evening travellers into Toulouse airport must look down and marvel.

Regarding the last photo of the two sleeping angels. Today (December 6th) is Saint Nicholas Day in France. All good children will have treats of
gingerbread, sweets, and little gifts. If Saint Nicholas takes a good look at that last photo……..surely many goodies are on offer for BOB and SOPHIE - angels personified. Holiday greetings from the Westcoast of Canada! Where we are about to turn in for the night, with our own boots left out for Nicholas to fill for us - and for our own Angel Scottish Terrier.

Good news about the bells....now you can sleep in peace.....providing you can block out the light from the star.

The stone buildings look so lovely, glowing in the soft winter sunlight.

STRONG cheeses ... not for the faint-hearted! It has been said of our local cheeses that the only difference between them and soap, is that the cheese doesn't lather!

"Sophie complains about the chefs tardiness"....made me laugh...Sophie is really a character.....did she keep a watch on the oven as the petit gateau a l'avocat citron vert et framboise was baking? I remember a photo from a while back with the oven being keenly watched as some other delight was being baked.
Happy to hear that the bells have been reprogrammed and that there is peace during the night.
Bob and Sophie are adorable whether awake or asleep,

Enjoyable photos today, Angus. You've captured a good shadow photo of the church.

If you have time, you'll have to read my latest post about my adventure in the kitchen on Thursday--I wonder what Bob and Sophie would have done if they'd been at my house?

Are Bob and Sophie waiting for St. Nicholas? Surely there will be sausage even only if just a taste.

If Sophie leaves any scraps of the 'petit gateau a l'avocat citron vert et framboise' I'm sure I could help out ?
