A very merry Christmas.

A Merry Christmas to one and all from everyone here at The Rickety Old Farmhouse.

So far this morning we've been on a tour of the village to look at the decorations put up by the mayors secretary.

Last years decorating style was minimalist. This year it's minimalism in extremis. Two strands of tinsel on the box trees by the war memorial, four baubles on a cypress tree in front of the church and a small tree and a length of red tinsel on the town hall terrace.

The bakers is packed and Buche de Noel are flying out of the display cabinet. The PONs get the curly ends from a Christmas croissant.

Sophie has been checked by the vet. The growth on the side of her muzzle is a wart. This is a great Christmas present.

Merry Christmas from the Westcoast of Canada.......to all in the R.O.F. household. Your house looks splendid, all aglow - and with the Font at the helm of the stove.......your Christmas meal will be delicious. Guaranteed. May your New Year be filled with continuous croissant ends, bakers
in good moods with abundant selections, continued exotic produce, and lovely news from Veterinarians like you received today about SOPHIE.
'Best Christmas Present' indeed! For us as well, your Pon-crazed audience. Sending warmest greetings to all.

I must say that I have never been so happy to hear the news that it is just a wart. A true Christmas miracle.

Crazy decorating with the tinsel. We saw the news tonight that showed the Churchill Arms in London - https://www.fullers.co.uk/blog/pubs-articles/most-festive-pub-the-churchill-arms . Now that is showing the festive spirit.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Delighted to hear it's just a wart. A splendid Christmas present! I thought our local decorations were minimalist, but yours make ours look positively exhuberant. Very best wishes to all in the PON household for Christmas and the New Year.

I too think Sophie's news is a good present... and wonder at the bother the 'assistant' went to in decorating. Meanwhile, the ROF looks festive and welcoming and I hope it is filled today with Love and Blessings. YAM xx

Yes, great news it's just a wart - it's like a canine version of the mayor's kidney stones.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

The only blog I am reading today. Such wonderful news, we were both so concerned. Merry Christmas from our house to yours. We are blessed to have our power back after 40 hours without it thanks to a devestating wind storm here on Vancouver Island. Others are still without from last Thursday.

Merry Christmas to all of you at the ROF. Looking forward to the best year ever, filled with croissant ends, bottomless yogurt pots, voles, guarding, power walks around the lake, touch rugby and of course, Manos a mano on the storm drain! Hoping you and Bob can set the world to rights in 2019!

Merry Christmas to all the inhabitants of the ROF. Your blog help to make the world a better place through stories that take dogs seriously. Happy Christmas and ear scratches to Bob and Sophie. I have been thinking a lot of Wilf this Christmas as our Westie Hamish shuts his little personality down (except for some zoomies in his cousins’ beloved backyard). It’s good to have thought about this before through the internet. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
