Everyday life in a rickety old Scottish farmhouse with a very happy Polish Lowland Sheepdog. A record of those unimportant little things that are too important to be forgotten.

" Beyond mountains, there are mountains ".
There's a large pot of slow simmering Bolognaise sauce bubbling away in the kitchen. The PONs decide to make the kitchen their home for the day. Sophie watches the pot intently.
Deer everywhere this year.
On our morning walk we spy a large buck standing in a wheat field.
It munches happily on the grain. From time to time it flips on its back and has a luxurious scratch. It the stands up and starts eating again. In this way a perfect crop circle of flattened wheat develops.
Who'd have thought it ? Until now I've had an open mind about crop circles being caused by micro bursts. Madame Bay believes they are caused by alien space craft - our little corner of paradise known as a must visit destination for extra-terrestrials.
For busy dog owners who might have missed it , this song is everywhere. The European mega hit of 2017. It is sung by a gentleman called Fonzi who is, according to 'The Font' a hugely famous, if somewhat schmaltzy Latin pop artist. He is joined in the performance by an equally famous Puerto Rican artist - Daddy Yankee. You learn something new every day.

Hmm how could I have missed that song?!!
A whole new theory of crop circles....though it could be an extra-terrestrial deer.
Mmm a large pot of Bolognaise sauce... sensible of Sophie to keep a close eye on it...just to make sure none escapes !
Extra terrestrials come for the croissant 😊
You win the internets for the day.
I agree!! Beau and I would both be in the kitchen guarding that. :)
