Pictures speak louder than words.

There was a time when we thought a female PON would be calm, gentle and demure.

Then Sophie joined the family.

A reminder of what 'little' people are capable of. It opened here last night. I'd thought I'd hate it but it is nuanced and adult and all the more surprising for being so :

Always a mistake to assume stereotypical female behaviour...
Thanks for the link. My friend and I had been debating whether to go and see Beguiled or Dunkirk this weekend. I now know what I'll recommend.
Cheers,
Gail.

Proof that a picture (or two) is worth a thousand words, as the old saying goes!
Sophie is absolutely Sophie.

They broke the mold after Sophie.
Thanks for that review. I haven't seen any Batman movies, but Inception set high expectations for Nolan.

Sophie just likes what she likes.

I went and saw Dunkirk today and enjoyed it more than any other war movie I javelin seen in years. It showed great restraint in its dialogue allowing the sights, sounds and acting to tell us the story. I lived that there was no cheesy back story too. A very modern masterpiece.

And the music was astounding.

Over hyped movies usually disappoint but this one is light years ahead of the Saving Private Ryan mould.

If you've got an airconditioned cinema nearby then worth a detour to see it.

Sophie has setablished a 'presence' in the household.

Thank you for that extraordinary review. I avoided the Private Ryan movie because it sounded too, too. This sounds as if one would need a large wad of tissues in hand, and even so it goes on my list.
I have decided that Sophie must have been named for Sophie Tucker, the "last of the red hot mamas". You go, girl.

You're right about the girls - This is true for many breeds, which is why I prefer "the boys" there's just less drama.

Thanks for the review about Dunkirk, I'm glad it's being given good reviews. Mark Rylance was on the "Today Show" this morning. I loved him in "Bridge of Spies" and I'm looking forward to seeing him in this movie as well.

Sophie is so cute! It's very cool when a pet is cheerful and not calm :)
