Christmas Carol #3

Up early to talk to men in dark suits. The 'rally' in Valdosta , Georgia comes up in the  conversation. Angus broke his nose playing rugby in Valdosta many years ago. He keeps this information to himself. The men in dark suits don't think Wall Streeters will be heading into their offices before the end of March. Conversation over dog and master head off to the  waterfall for a  walk.  Mud, a brisk wind,  light drizzle  and a lengthy drink from the stream , in combination, generate a less than pristine look. A lengthy grooming may lie in store for the family diva.

Some of the children standing further away from Mireille Mathieu seem less than enthusiastic participants in the carol singing.

That's about the most animated I've ever seen Mireille Mathieu!
Poor Sophie - a lengthy grooming, but cheer up, there may be treats to follow, and somewhere there must be a Jaffa cake with your name on it!

I assume you have the little boy to the far right in mind. He certainly seems to be more interested in the sound engineers mixing board.

The same cannot be said about Mme Mathieus backing group who have a half hearted air to them.

I was given a copy of Canine Confidential last year. I thought it was a good book written by a talented observer. There is one chapter about dog walks that I think you might particularly enjoy.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the song!
