A well spent day brings happy sleep.

The peace of a quiet sunny afternoon broken by the arrival of the heating oil man. Bob and Sophie greet him with their ' intruder alert ' song .

The nice young farmer drives a herd of cows from the field by the crossroads to a field by the other crossroads. Bob and Sophie stand on their hind legs, front paws resting on the garden wall,  watching the cows amble by. They announce the herds arrival with a rendition of their '' you ain't going to believe this but these dogs are huge " song. This is like the ' intruder alert ' song but with an extra 'oo' in the w-oo-oo-oo -f .

For her upset tummy Sophie is put on a diet of rice, diced chicken and fromage frais.  This mean that Bob is also on a diet of rice, chicken and fromage frais. Sophie adores it. Bob has a hungry look on his face that seems to say ' there's nothing to that fancy foreign food . Give me a plate of duck and beef kibbles any day '.

It's either wet grass or a rehearsal for next years St.Patricks Day parade.

The fresh green spring landscape is looking especially lovely in the May sunshine.

Sophie had a bath, didn't she?
She looks glorious! Particularly for someone with a recent bad tummy.
We are familiar with chicken and rice as well.
Both Edward and Apple adore this cure.

We think Sophie is giving her brother digging lessons! Probably telling him he isn't doing it right.

Loved today's title, it's so true.
Glad to see that Sophie is back to her old self digging around in "her" flower pot.
I can imagine the conversation that goes on between her and Bob as they dig together.
I cook Brownie's food everyday. The vet says he should be having chow, so I mix the two. I can assure you that Brownie loves rice, chicken and fromage frais.

So Bob's a meat and potatoes kind of guy? I'm glad they've got so many things to keep an eye on!

So glad to see Sophie looking well. I was ridiculously concerned about this little puppy I have never met.

It is gorgeous where you live.

Bob and Sophie give a whole new meaning to 'container gardening!'

Sophie looks adorable with her fur fluffed.
With the font's culinary skills being what they are, we are sure that the three simple foods suggested by the vet will be turned into a healthful, nutritious and delightful meal fit for man and beast alike.

What proper guard dogs they are! Fingers crossed the rice diet will work for darling Sophie! Our 3 send their love to your 2 - with hopes of happy tummies.

Being Polish he might settle for sausage and cabbage.
